Best days.....

Had the best weekend so far...
So many events and it's only Saturday, (well... Sunday now. It's 1:14am)
Anyways,
Yesterday (Nov. 18, 2011). Gela picked me up and we went to Target to run few errands. Then we bought the BREAKING DAWN tickets to go watch it at the theaters, then we went to Five guys Burger restaurant and we had a lot of catching up to do. It was what I needed. Then we went to the theaters and watched Breaking Dawn. DANG, IT WAS GOOD! AMAZING! AWESOME!
Then, I went to Gelas to spend the night.... it was the PERFECT NIGHT! STRESS-FREE!
And then this morning ( Nov. 19, 2011), I took Gela and Will Lesters family photo shoot. It was a BLAST! Even though Jackson, there son, was a little sick.... pictures came out great! I LOVE THIS FAMILY WITH ALL MY HEART!! Here are some photos.

Tonight was also special. We had our FIRST roommate date. Since we were not busy, we decided to go out for dinner and then come back home and decorate the house by putting up the Christmas tree and have few laughs. IT WAS A SUCCESS!

One of those days....

I believe you are more than enough for me. Jesus you are all I need.
You hold me close to you, you carry me and walk through fire with me.
You are the healer of any kind of sickness. I believe your my HEALER.
You are my portion, You are all I need and none other.
Nothing is impossible for you, and all things work according to your plan.
Hold me, God. I need you more than anything.
You know what's going on in my mind, in my heart.
You have my life set out, and you are working in me and through me. I believe it.
Your mercies and grace is what gets me through my day.
I love you more than anything. I need you more than anything.
No one can separate me from you, and I will never go back to the person I used to be.
Im laying my burden to you. I need the joy, love, and hope.
Help me to sing to you daily, read your world daily, and live for you daily.
All I need is to rest on your lap, while you hold me and whisper that everything is going to be Ok. Thank you for loving me and lifting me up during rough times.
I just want to sing a song to you through my darkest days and nights.
I love you.

I miss my nieces ...

Fog

" As you look at the day before you, you see a twisted, complicated path, with branches going off in all directions. You wonder how you can possibly find your way through that maze. THen you remember the One who is with you ALWAYS, holding you by your right hand.  You recall My promise to guide you with My counsel, and you begin to relax. As you look again at the path ahead, you notice that a peaceful fog has settled over it, obscuring your view. You can see only a few steps in front of you, so you turn your attention more fully to Me and begin to enjoy My presence.

The fog is a protection for you, calling you back into the presence moment. Although I inhabit all of space and time, you can communicate with Me only here and now. Someday the fog will no longer be necessary, for you will have learned to keep your focus on Me and the path just ahead of you."

Small Group

I have  been a small group leader this semester through Chi Alpha. It's an on campus Christian ministry orginization. It's super legit. I went through LTC (Leadership Training Course) three years ago. This is my 2nd year of leading a small group, and it's been wonderful. God has been teaching me so much through it.

This year, I took over Heather's small group, because she graduated and moved back home. So i was honored to take care of her girls and just  build a relationship. Let me tell you... they have been wonderful. Even though this semester has been a rough one in general, having a small group has been teaching me a lot more than I ever thought it would.

Today, we had our awesome Thanksgiving dinner. We each brought something to share, (food wise) and it was just so good to sit around the table and share our thankfulness to our savior, Christ Jesus, and just be able to have fun, laugh, and just have a blast. We sure did.

(bottom): Me, Krystal, Mara

I love each one of them so much. Just to able to share our hearts is what brings us close together. Thank you Jesus for bringing me here. Thank you for taking care of my life by holding my future in your hands. I trust you fully... and I surrender every worry, fear, and anxieties. It's all yours. I'm just so thankful for everything.
